Benjamin Parra

Former Executive Director,
Healey International Relief Foundation


Otto Benjamin Parra most recently served as the Executive Director of the Healey International Relief Foundation, an organization that supports vulnerable populations in Sierra Leone, West Africa, by strengthening the country’s health system and responding to disaster emergencies. Ben also previously served as the Executive Director of the Community Health Development Fund, an organization which provided financing consulting service to community clinics in the USA. 


Ben was formerly the Controller at Community First Fund, a leading community development financial institution, and held leadership positions expanding international operations for USA companies. He has lived and travelled extensively in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.


Ben currently serves on the International Advisory Board of Elizabethtown College, and is a former board member of affordable housing, economic development, and international trade organizations, as well as a founding board member of both the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Central Pennsylvania and Community First Fund.


Ben earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Thomas Edison State University and his master’s in management and organizational development from Alliant International University.
