Before becoming involved with the Social Enterprise Group James (Jim) S. Reeb was President at the St. Onge Institute. He also worked with their successor, i3 – Impact Investment Investigators – Inc., which is a managing partner of TAG Impact Partners, an Impact Investment Banking firm in NY City. He has over 37 years of experience in strategic planning, business platform design, location analysis, global investment strategies, capital market financing options, infrastructure, and facility development in various engagements for 85 of the Fortune 500. Previously, Mr. Reeb was a Senior Partner and Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Business Consulting Group. Prior to that he was Director/Partner of Real Estate Advisory for Deloitte’s Global Manufacturing Expansion practice. Establishing RESMA Realty Advisors, Mr. Reeb was President and Senior Partner before it was later sold to Deloitte. Mr. Reeb started his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Mr. Reeb earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting and Civil/Industrial Engineering with honors, as well as an MBA in Real Estate & Finance with honors from Temple University. He completed an executive DBA at University of Glasgow, Scotland and a Harvard Business School PMD executive fellowship in Strategic Leadership. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE). A member of the Board of Realtors Education and Professional Standards Committee, the Institute for Corporate Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute, an award winner and member of AICPA, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and a member of the International Real Estate Institute. Mr. Reeb also currently serves on a number of international nonprofit boards

Dr. Richard (Rick) Basom retired in April 2018 from Elizabethtown College where he was the Executive Director of the Office of Sponsored Research and Programs, an office he established in July 2013. During that time, Basom was also responsible for the establishment of the summer undergraduate student research program (SCARP) and co-founded the Social Enterprise Institute (SEI) at Elizabethtown College. Basom was responsible for Institutional Research, Institutional Assessment and externally funded research and programs at the College. He has also been the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Innovation Transfer Network (ITN), an organization with a mission of commercializing innovation by linking business and industry with a network of sixteen colleges and universities in south central Pennsylvania.
After graduating from Elizabethtown College with a degree in social work, Basom earned a doctorate in Public and International Affairs with a concentration in Policy Research and Analysis at the University of Pittsburgh. Basom has designed and directed evaluation/research agendas of three major educational research and development organizations funded by the US Department of Education and other funding sources. He has served as Principal Investigator or Co-PI on many research grants/contracts and was responsible for generating grants and contracts totaling $80M over one six-year period. He has successfully negotiated joint partnership agreements between private and non-profit companies, has facilitated licensing of intellectual property arrangements, and has successfully launched a start-up company. Basom also carried out numerous consulting assignments with schools and colleges, state agencies and private educational organizations and served in the U.S Army and as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves (activated during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm) and the PA National Guard. Basom currently resides with his wife (Mary Lynn) on an island in Puget Sound.

James (Jim) H. Frederick, III has a passion for impacting the lives of others, particularly during his fourth quarter of life. Prior to becoming actively involved with the Social Enterprise Institute, USA, Jim Frederick’s experience includes 40 years specializing in Employee Health Benefits, selling and consulting employers with insured and self-funded plans, managing a third-party health benefit administration company and developing risk management tools with regional provider owned Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks. A few key roles he has worked in include: Managing Principal of Integrated Benefit Solutions, a third-party administration company; Vice President of national sales support at CoreSource, Inc., a benefit administration company; and Vice President of Business Development for Preferred Health Care, a provider network & wellness.
Mr. Frederick earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Millersville University. He has committed his life to participating in organizations that help others overcome adversity and achieve a meaningful life. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association (Lancaster Division) and as Chair of New Man Community Development Corporation. Mr. Frederick also served as Chair for the American Heart Walk for Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Eagle Scout Chair for Boy Scout Troop 99 for over fifteen years.

Pat Blough is a wife, proud mother of one and finally a grandmother (better known as “Nanny”) to two precious grandchildren. Pat is a mature business professional with over 30 years of experience working in various positions of the business realm but has ultimately found her niche with the SEI Team. Pat works with SEI as a Chief Administrative Director. When Pat isn’t working for SEI, she can be found in a pool instructing aquatic classes or soaking up rays in the Sunshine State
