James Frederick

Chief Operating Officer 

James Frederick currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Social Enterprise Group. Jim joined the team in 2015 as a Senior Fellow assigned to several nonprofit client projects in the role of Enterprise Development Partner. Prior to his work with the Social Enterprise Group, Jim had 45 years of experience in senior management specializing in Employee Health Benefits, selling and consulting employers with insured and self-funded plans, leading a third-party health benefit administration company and developing risk management tools with regional provider-owned Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks. Key leadership experience includes Managing Principal of Integrated Benefit Solutions, a third- party administration company; Vice President National Sales and Support of CoreSource, Inc., a national benefit administration company; and Vice President of Business Development for Preferred Health Care, a provider network & wellness company.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Millersville University. He has a passion for impacting the lives of others, especially during his fourth quarter of life. He has committed his life to participating in organizations that help others overcome adversity and achieve a meaningful purpose. Jim currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge, a national drug and alcohol addiction recovery center. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association (Lancaster Division) and as Chair of New Man Community Development Corporation, a workforce training program. Jim also served as Chair for the American Heart Walk for Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and Eagle Scout Chair of the Boy Scouts for over fifteen years.
