Jim Reeb - Biography

James Reeb, CPA, MBA, DBA, FRICS

President and Chief Impact Officer


Prior to his involvement in establishing the Social Enterprise Group, James Reeb held notable positions, including President at Institute St. Onge and later at its successor, i3 – Impact Investment Integrators, Inc. He was also a founder and managing partner at TAG Impact Partners, an impact investment banking firm based in New York City. With a career spanning over 41 years, Jim has accumulated extensive expertise in diverse areas such as strategic planning, business model design, location analysis, global investment strategies, capital market financing options, infrastructure, and facility development. Notably, he has engaged with 85 companies within the Fortune 500. Jim's previous roles include being a Senior Partner and Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Business Consulting Group. He also served as a Managing Director and Partner at Deloitte, contributing to their Real Estate Advisory and Global Manufacturing Expansion practice. Jim established and led RESMA Realty Advisors, which was eventually acquired by Deloitte. His career began at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where he worked as an international tax accountant. 

 

Educationally, Jim achieved dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration/Accounting and Civil/Industrial engineering, both with honors. He also earned an MBA in Real Estate & Finance with honors from Temple University. Further academic accomplishments include completing an executive DBA at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and a Harvard Business School PMD in Strategic Leadership. Jim's professional accreditations comprise Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Counselor of Real Estate (CRE). He actively participates in various industry organizations, such as the Board of Realtors Education and Professional Standards Committee, the Institute for Corporate Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute, and the International Real Estate Institute. Jim also holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and is an award recipient and member of AICPA.

 

Jim is deeply involved in nonprofit work and currently serves on several international nonprofit boards.
